man, i am one pathetic loser.
so...i'm not the best rock climber in the world. i used to think that i was ok. i was wrong. i've even worked on a ropes course. you'd think i'd be ok. but no...i guess it was just something i assumed i would be ok at, but never really attempted. this semester i have been proven ridiculously wrong. i am in fact a bad climber.
i'll give you an example.
today i attempted to climb this wall. it was a corner climb. it took me 4 tries to make it past one spot. and i wasn't even to the first level yet. great. so...anyway...long story short, i eventually (in the most awkward way possible) made it to the first level. one more to go...oh my goodness. it took me the rest of the class to get past this stupid platform. oh man. it took me forever. i think i tried to climb this same route (the only route) like...184 times before i did it successfully. sigh.
however, it was accomplished. but i do feel a little bad for shauna and shea, who were stuck belaying/tending the rope/watching me for a good half hour.
so...with that said...and to give you a good visual of the afternoon...and because i didn't have a camera, i leave you with this.
DISCLAIMER: SHAUNA IS NOT GIVING ME THE FINGER. i tried to make it look like she was checking her watch. i guess it did not work.

I definitely see Shea's boredom and Shauna's watch checking...there is no flippage.
And I agree. You did far better than I could ever do!!
all i can tell is that nobody looks happy in this picture. i think shauna could be checking her nails and maybe focusing on her middle finger, but i dont see any full blown flippage.
